Baltic Hub

Baltic Hub & One More Tree

Baltic Hub, in collaboration with our One More Tree Foundation, carried out an initiative to plant 900 oak saplings in the Górki Zachodnie district of Gdansk on 25 March 2024. Through such actions, the company not only assists in forest restoration but also actively contributes to reducing carbon dioxide emissions and improving air quality.

Environmental Protection Collaboration with Baltic Hub

Baltic Hub Container Terminal Ltd. is a leading and rapidly growing container terminal in Poland and a destination for the world's largest vessels departing from China, Korea and other Asian countries.

Located in the heart of the Baltic Sea, in the Port of Gdansk, the Baltic Hub has the capacity to handle up to 2.9 million TEUs per year. Thanks to favourable sea conditions, excellent infrastructure and investments made by the Polish government and the city of Gdansk, the Baltic Hub is perfectly connected to the country's cargo destinations and is a natural gateway to Central and Eastern Europe for container transport.

Baltic Hub is actively involved in the lives and support of the residents of the surrounding neighbourhoods and also regularly undertakes environmental activities - including continuing nature compensation, protecting endangered bird species, producing and purchasing green energy, running an apiary on the roof of the company's main building, striving for zero-emission, engaging in beach clean-ups and conducting upcycling campaigns.

Thanks to Baltic Hub, a part of the world has become greener. See where you can find the trees planted as part of our collaboration. Greet them from us if you pass them on your way!

Biodiversity

In our tree-planting efforts, we place significant emphasis on biodiversity. We select tree species that are native to the region and provide food and habitat for local plant and animal species. Our aim is to create forests that mirror natural ecosystems and assist in restoring their functions.
