Volunteers and friends of the Foundation planted 250 maple saplings in Wrocław, showing their commitment to ecology
21 April turned out to be a great day for our Foundation. In the Osobowicki Forest, our friends and volunteers gathered to carry out a tree planting campaign. Together we planted 250 maple saplings.
It was not only a great afternoon spent together, but also an expression of dedication to our planet. The joint action of volunteers and friends is proof of the importance of environmental action, especially in these times.
The whole event would not have been possible without the kindness of the Mayor of Wrocław, Jacek Sutryk. Promoting pro-environmental attitudes among the citizens of Wrocław and encouraging them to green the city are extremely important to him. The event had the honour of being held under the honorary patronage of the Mayor of Wrocław.
Wrocław, also known as “Wroclove”, is becoming a greener city and its inhabitants are increasingly aware of the need to protect the environment and the importance of ecology. The actions of volunteers and friends of the city are part of a wider context of pro-environmental activities around the world, aimed at both mitigating the effects of climate change and protecting our planet for future generations.
We would like to thank you warmly for supporting our mission to green Poland! Today’s action has shown that together we can do a lot of good for our planet. Let us remember that every tree planted contributes to a better tomorrow.
