Tree planting with IBA Poland on 19 April 2024 in Garwolin
On 19 April 2024, we had the pleasure of being part of a unique event in Garwolin, which was the result of a collaboration with IBA Poland. Together with IBA Poland employees and their families, we planted as many as 500 trees.
Friendly atmosphere
Together with IBA Poland employees and their families, we visited the charming town of Garwolin, where we started our tree-planting campaign. Our joint efforts resulted in the planting of as many as 500 trees, a significant step towards protecting our environment.
The atmosphere on the day was extremely warm and friendly. Participants were surrounded by greenery and supported by loved ones! Everyone was able to feel part of something bigger, and our work will benefit future generations. The children, not only enjoyed the moment outdoors, but also actively participated in the action.
Environmental quiz for children
We prepared an ecological quiz especially for the youngest participants. The children had the opportunity not only to broaden their knowledge of the importance of trees for our ecosystem, but also to spend time in an engaging and enjoyable way. The quiz tasks stimulated creativity and imagination while conveying important information about ecology and the need to protect nature.
Importance of trees
Planting trees plays an important role in protecting the environment and ensuring the sustainability of our planet. Trees perform an irreplaceable function in ecosystems, absorbing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere during photosynthesis, which contributes to reducing the greenhouse effect and improving air quality. In addition, trees stabilise the soil, prevent erosion and flooding, and create habitats for many plant and animal species. Planting trees is also important for human health, as trees are natural air filters, reduce pollution and improve the quality of life for residents.
Thank you!
We would like to thank everyone involved. Thanks to you, we have created something special that will have a positive impact on our environment for many years to come. This event also demonstrates the importance of partnerships between NGOs and business to achieve common goals. We would like to thank IBA Poland for their sustained commitment to the environment and for working together to produce such beautiful results. There are many more green days ahead!
