Together with IAG GBS for Environmental Protection – Planting Flower Meadows and Cleaning Green Areas in Małopolska
On September 18, 2024, a day full of environmental action took place! On this special day, our Foundation partnered with employees from IAG GBS, who took part in two important initiatives as part of employee volunteering – planting flower bulbs and sowing a flower meadow in Niepołomice, as well as cleaning green areas in Kraków. Thanks to their involvement, Małopolska has become even greener, and our actions had a real impact on improving the quality of the environment.
Planting Flower Meadows – Supporting Biodiversity
The first part of the action took place in the picturesque town of Niepołomice, where IAG GBS volunteers took part in planting flower bulbs and sowing a flower meadow covering 750 m². Flower meadows are a natural haven for bees, butterflies, and other pollinating insects that play a key role in maintaining healthy ecosystems. Through such actions, we support biodiversity and restore natural habitats for these essential species that have a crucial impact on ecological balance.
Cleaning Green Areas in Kraków – Caring for Our Planet’s Cleanliness
On the same day, the IAG GBS team also took part in cleaning green areas in Kraków. Together, they collected as many as 40 bags of trash, making a real contribution to improving the quality of public spaces. Waste that ends up in the environment threatens plants, animals, as well as air and water quality. Every bag of trash collected is a step toward a better future, and the collective effort shows how much we can achieve when we take care of our planet.
Joint Actions for Environmental Protection
Thanks to the involvement of IAG GBS employees, these two initiatives had a significant impact on improving the quality of the environment in Małopolska. Every participant in this action contributed to real change, caring for our planet. The collective effort for nature protection shows how much we can achieve when we join forces to protect the Earth.
