Autumn is the perfect time to enrich the landscape and introduce new elements of greenery, which is why a unique planting campaign took place in Pabianice County on 17 October 2024. The One More Tree Foundation, together with the support of local authorities, planted new trees and flower bulbs that will flourish in the coming spring, adding colour and life to public spaces.
Working with Local Authorities for a Better Environment
The event was attended by representatives of the district, including Pabianice District Mayor Arkadiusz Jaksa, Gabriela Wenne-Błażyńska, Paulina Rzetelska and Robert Kraska. Thanks to their involvement, the action took on a special character, showing how important it is to act together for sustainable development and the local community. The plantings are the result of cooperation between local authorities and the One More Tree Foundation, aiming to improve the quality of life for residents and the environment.
Green Spaces for Communities and the Environment
Planting trees and flower bulbs has a huge impact on improving the microclimate, air quality and biodiversity. The new trees will help absorb carbon dioxide and produce oxygen, and the flowers will attract pollinating insects, supporting the local ecosystem.
