One More Tree Foundation at an environmental conference at a school in Luboń on 18 October 2024
On 18 October 2024, the One More Tree Foundation, at the invitation of the City of Luboń, took part in an environmental conference organised in one of the local schools. This unique event was an opportunity to get children interested in environmental protection and show them that everyone, even the youngest, can have an impact on the nature around us.
Flower bulbs and flower meadows – learning by doing
During the conference, the children received flower bulbs and flower meadow seed mixes to take home. These were no ordinary gifts – each bulb and seed held great potential to become the start of something beautiful. The action aimed not only to encourage children to plant, but also to sensitise them to the role of biodiversity in our ecosystem.
Through such activities, children learn through experience and planting flowers or establishing a flower meadow becomes not only an adventure for them, but also a lesson in environmental responsibility. The One More Tree Foundation always focuses on practical and engaging solutions that allow the youngest children to feel that their actions really matter.
Working together for a better tomorrow
The donation of bulbs and seeds at the conference is an example of how simple gestures can build environmental awareness and inspire change. Thanks to the cooperation between the One More Tree Foundation and the City of Luboń, the children not only enriched their knowledge, but also got the chance to take real action – in their own homes, gardens or even schoolyards.
Summary – small steps, big effect
The environmental conference in Luboń was an excellent example of how education can combine theory and practice. Thanks to its simple but engaging format, the children were able to learn that caring for the environment does not require a lot of money or complicated measures – all that is needed is a willingness and small steps, which together create a big change.
The One More Tree Foundation is proud to support such initiatives, showing that the future of our planet depends on the involvement of each and every one of us, regardless of age. This was another action that not only enriched the youngest’s knowledge, but also planted the seeds of ecological responsibility in their hearts.
