Planting flower bulbs in Luboń with GSK on 18 October 2024
On 18 October 2024, a unique action of planting flower bulbs took place in Luboń, organised by the One More Tree Foundation in cooperation with GSK. Thanks to joint action, the local space was given new life and participants were able to make a real contribution to improving the environment.
Common goal: a more beautiful and sustainable city
As part of the campaign, employee volunteers from GSK, together with the One More Tree Foundation, planted hundreds of flower bulbs – including tulips, daffodils and other plants that will bloom in spring, attracting pollinating insects and adding beauty to urban spaces.
Such activities are more than just planting flowers. It is a gesture of care for the environment, building the local community and working together for the future of our planet. The involvement of GSK employees demonstrates the importance of cooperation between companies, foundations and citizens in implementing projects that have a positive impact on the world around us.
Employee volunteering – power in action
GSK once again proved that corporate social responsibility can take concrete, visible forms. Thanks to the company’s support, the action in Luboń became possible and GSK employees, by engaging in volunteering, showed how important it is to act for the benefit of the environment.
For many of the participants, it was also a unique experience – an opportunity to break away from their daily duties and do something good. Working together in the spirit of ecology strengthened the bonds between the volunteers, and knowing that their actions would benefit them for years to come was an additional motivation.
Summary
The bulb planting campaign in Luboń with GSK’s participation was not only a practical action for the environment, but also an opportunity for community building. Thanks to the involvement of the One More Tree Foundation and GSK employees, it was possible to introduce more greenery into the urban space and, in the process, inspire others to take similar action.
