Eclipse Employees Cleaned Up Millennium Park in Wrocław
On October 25, 2024, Wrocław’s Millennium Park became the site of a remarkable event – a large-scale cleanup action organized by One More Tree Foundation. Around 20 volunteers from Eclipse company, took part in the initiative.
United for the Environment
The goal of the event was to restore order to one of Wrocław’s largest parks and raise awareness about environmental protection. Equipped with essential tools and safety gear, the volunteers covered nearly the entire park area, collecting waste left behind by visitors.
Their efforts yielded impressive results – the participants gathered 25 bags of trash, significantly improving the park’s appearance and making it a more welcoming space for residents and visitors alike.

The Problem of Litter in Public Spaces
Littering in public spaces, such as parks, is a global issue affecting cities worldwide. Waste left by visitors not only mars the landscape but also poses a threat to local wildlife. Birds and animals living in Millennium Park may accidentally ingest plastic wrappers or shards of glass, which often leads to tragic outcomes. Initiatives like this one, organized by the foundation and Eclipse, highlight the importance of keeping public spaces clean and promoting responsible habits among residents.
A Step Towards Sustainability
The cleanup event at Millennium Park is an excellent example of collaboration between a foundation and local businesses, bringing benefits to the entire community. Thanks to the dedication of the volunteers, Millennium Park has become a cleaner and more inviting place, reminding us of how much can be achieved through collective effort and care for our surroundings.
