CDA Bufab plants trees for the future – 500 new saplings in Wrocław
On March 22, 2025, a special tree-planting event took place in cooperation with CDA Bufab Wrocław. Near the Osobowicki Forest, with the dedication of 30 participants, we managed to plant 500 trees – a tangible step toward ecosystem restoration and supporting local biodiversity.
During the event, we planted only native species: hornbeam, elm, linden, oak, and beech – 100 saplings of each. These species have grown naturally in Poland for centuries and are perfectly adapted to the local climate and soil conditions. Planting native trees plays a crucial role in rebuilding biodiversity, which has been significantly disrupted in recent decades by human activity and climate change.
These trees not only absorb carbon dioxide and produce oxygen – they also provide shelter and food for many species of birds, insects, and small mammals. Biodiversity is not just a buzzword – it’s a real, living network of connections, of which we, humans, are also a part. That’s why our actions – even local ones – must be thoughtful and long-term.
We’re truly happy that CDA Bufab not only recognizes the importance of these efforts but also actively involves its employees in meaningful environmental action. The event was full of energy, smiles, and a deep sense of purpose.
We thank all the participants for their commitment and care put into every single tree planted. Together, we’re creating a space that will serve future generations – both people and nature.
