A Greener Bemowo – 500 New Trees Thanks to Egis Volunteers
A Green Initiative in the Heart of Warsaw
On April 8, 2025, Warsaw’s Bemowo district received a fresh breath of green energy. Thanks to the efforts of volunteers from the company Egis, 500 trees were planted – including maples, sycamores, and lindens. This ecological initiative not only beautifies the urban space but also contributes to better air quality and increased biodiversity in the capital.
Inspiring Commitment
The Egis volunteers proved that together, we can achieve great things. Their enthusiasm, positive energy, and readiness to take action for a better tomorrow were evident throughout the event. Company employees worked hand in hand to plant the young trees, supporting both the environment and the local community.
Every Tree Counts
The newly planted trees are not only a beautiful addition to the cityscape but also a symbol of change and care for future generations. Each sapling represents a step toward a healthier, greener planet. Such actions have a real impact on climate and urban living conditions – trees purify the air, provide shade, and offer shelter for birds and insects.
Native Species for a Better Future
The choice of maples, sycamores, and lindens was deliberate – these are native species well-adapted to Poland’s environment. Planting native trees supports local ecosystems, as they provide a natural habitat for many animals, insects, and microorganisms. In doing so, biodiversity is strengthened, which is crucial for the health of nature and the resilience of urban ecosystems to climate change.
Thank You – Together for the Planet
Gratitude for the Egis volunteers runs deep – their contribution to Warsaw’s ecological future is invaluable. This is a powerful example of how business and social responsibility can go hand in hand, bringing meaningful benefits to the wider community. Thanks to such initiatives, we are transforming our cities step by step into greener, more livable spaces – for ourselves and for future generations.
