Forest in a jar and natural soaps workshop with Sungrow on 15 April 2025
On April 15th, we spent an inspiring day with the Sungrow team, who participated in an eco-creative workshop organized by our foundation. Together, we created natural soaps and mini ecosystems in glass jars, also known as terrariums. It was a time full of mindfulness, relaxation, and conversations about how our daily choices impact the environment.
Natural Soaps – Small Actions, Big Impact
The first part of the workshop was dedicated to creating natural soaps. Sungrow employees learned the secrets of handmade soap-making – from selecting natural ingredients to melting the base and composing fragrances and the final look of the product. The air was filled with the aromas of essential oils, while tables were covered with dried flowers, herbs, and natural dyes that participants used to give their soaps a unique character.
Each person created their own unique, fragrant cosmetic, guided by their taste and imagination. It wasn’t just a creative adventure, but also an opportunity to discuss how many ingredients in traditional cosmetics harm our skin and the environment. Handcrafting natural soap turned out to be not only satisfying but also eye-opening – what is ecological can be beautiful, effective, and personal.
Nature Encased in a Microcosm
After a break, we moved into the world of micro-ecosystems. A terrarium is more than just a decoration – it’s a living story about how nature operates in a closed loop. Workshop participants eagerly created their own plant compositions, combining soil, moss, stones, and delicate potted plants.
While working, we discussed the importance of balance and the interdependence of ecosystem elements. With great focus and care, everyone created their own small green world – enclosed in a glass container, yet full of life and meaning. A terrarium is not just an aesthetic addition to a home or office, but also a reminder that even a small piece of nature can bring peace and tranquility.
Collaboration That Matters
Meeting with the Sungrow team showed us how valuable actions that combine environmental care with creativity and community building can be. More and more companies are looking for ways to engage employees in eco-friendly actions – not only through declarations but also by providing real experiences.
The workshop was an opportunity not only to take a break from daily responsibilities but also to reflect on one’s own lifestyle. Working together, laughing, sharing ideas, and celebrating the results – all of this created an atmosphere of openness and engagement. We’re glad to have been a part of this space and to see the growing interest in conscious, responsible approaches to the environment.
Thank You and… See You Again!
For our foundation, such meetings are extremely important – they show that change can start from simple actions, and that ecological education can go hand in hand with the joy of creating. We are grateful to Sungrow for their trust and openness to working together. We hope that this day will remain in participants’ memories as an inspiring and positive experience – and that the soaps and terrariums created will remind everyone that nature is closer than we think.
See you at future green projects!
