Cleaning Green Areas in Gliwice with Culligan – July 23, 2025
On July 23, 2025, together with Culligan, we organized a cleanup of green areas in Gliwice. This time, participants set out to the municipal forest to take care of a space used daily by the city’s residents. A dedicated group of employees took part in the event, devoting their time to genuinely support the local environment.
For several hours, we cleaned forest paths, groves, and sections of recreational walking routes. The work unfolded in a great atmosphere – with a sense of responsibility, willingness to act together, and the belief that even simple activities can bring visible results. After the action, the area clearly changed – it became cleaner, more orderly, and more welcoming both for visitors and for nature.
Why does cleaning green areas matter?
Waste left in forests is a serious issue affecting local ecosystems. Plastic, glass, and metal do not disappear on their own – they remain in the environment for hundreds of years, posing a threat to animals and plants. By cleaning the municipal forest in Gliwice together with Culligan, we emphasized that caring for nature begins with everyday choices and simple, local actions.
Our initiative was also an opportunity to show that environmental responsibility is a shared matter. Everyone using recreational areas can have a real impact on their condition. A little goodwill is enough to improve the quality of places that are close to us and that we use every day.
Education through action
We believe that the best ecological education happens in practice. During the event, participants could see how important it is to take care of open public spaces and how easy it is to get involved in activities supporting the environment. Such experiences teach mindfulness, build sensitivity, and show that ecology is not only about large projects but also small steps that everyone can take.
The meeting in the Gliwice forest proved that direct contact with nature fosters reflection and builds responsible attitudes. It is in such moments that true environmental awareness is born – based on experience rather than theory.
Long-term impact of such initiatives
Our effort in Gliwice was more than a one-time cleanup. It was a symbolic gesture aligned with building a sustainable, environmentally aware community. Each initiative of this kind inspires, shows that collective effort matters, and can significantly improve the quality of local areas.
The cooperation with Culligan is an example that businesses and social organizations can work together to create meaningful initiatives, influence their surroundings, and set an example for others. We believe that regular actions and consistent development of ecological habits lead to real change – for nature, for residents, and for future generations.
It was a day full of engagement, positive energy, and the belief that together we can achieve a great deal – for Gliwice, for nature, and for all of us.
