Natural Soap-Making Workshop at the “Wrzos” Day Care Center in Tychy on July 25, 2025
How can we combine ecology, creativity and well-being? This was the guiding question of the natural soap making workshop organized by the One More Tree Foundation in collaboration with Stellantis at the “Wrzos” Day Care Centre in Tychy.
The workshop – scents, colors and creativity
In a cozy and friendly atmosphere, filled with the scent of herbs and essential oils, 18 seniors engaged in crafting their own personalized soap bars. Participants experimented with natural colorants and additives while learning safe methods for creating homemade, skin-friendly cosmetics.
🔍 Did you know?
Many conventional soaps on the market contain microplastics – tiny particles that end up in groundwater and oceans. These are nearly impossible to remove and enter the food chain. By making your own soap from natural ingredients, you help protect aquatic life and ecosystems. A small gesture, but one that truly matters.
What participants gained – knowledge, connection, relaxation
The workshop was not only educational but also a space for relaxation and social integration. Under the guidance of our educators, participants learned the basics of natural skincare and discovered the benefits of using everyday products free from synthetic additives – better for the body and the planet.
– “It smelled not only of herbs and oils – but also of joy,” shared one of the participants.
– “It’s been a long time since I’ve created something this fun with my own hands.”
Stellantis partnership – supporting local communities
This project was made possible thanks to the support of Stellantis, a company that actively backs local environmental and social initiatives. Their support for seniors and commitment to sustainable development had a real and meaningful impact in the local community.
Results and future activities
With years of experience conducting eco-educational workshops for all age groups, One More Tree Foundation once again proved that environmental actions can be engaging and accessible to everyone – regardless of age.
Our heartfelt thanks go to:
- the “Wrzos” Day Care Centre for their warm hospitality,
