Natural Soap-Making Workshop in Skoczów on August 13, 2025
How can we combine ecology, creativity, and the joy of making something with our own hands? This question was answered during a natural soap-making workshop organized by the One More Tree Foundation in cooperation with Stellantis in Skoczów on 13 August 2025.
Workshop experience – scents, colours, and creative joy
In a welcoming space filled with the aroma of herbs, essential oils, and the gentle hum of conversation, eight participants from the Occupational Therapy Workshops took part in creating their own unique soap bars. Guided by the Foundation’s educators, they explored natural dyes, additives, and safe cosmetic-making techniques, experimenting with shapes and fragrance compositions.
🔍 Fun Fact:
Did you know that by choosing natural soap instead of commercial products, we can avoid contact with microplastics that end up in rivers, lakes, and seas? It’s a simple way to protect aquatic ecosystems and care for our health.
Learning, connection, and satisfaction
The workshop was not only an opportunity to gain a new, practical skill, but also a moment of connection and spending time together in a creative atmosphere. There was visible joy in discovering new possibilities – from the first fragrance blends to the moment of taking the finished soap bars out of their molds.
Partnership with Stellantis – supporting local initiatives
The project was made possible thanks to the commitment of Stellantis, and the presence of the company’s representative during the workshop highlighted the importance of partnership in building a sustainable future.
Results and acknowledgements
Once again, the One More Tree Foundation proved that environmental education can be practical, enjoyable, and accessible to everyone—regardless of age or skill level.
Special thanks go to:
- the participants of the Occupational Therapy Workshops in Skoczów for their enthusiasm and commitment,
