Planting 400 trees with ING, Manpower and Urban Partners in Warsaw on 10 October 2025

On October 10th, Warsaw became the setting for a unique initiative in which employees from ING, Manpower, and Urban Partners (formerly NREP) joined forces to plant 400 new trees. The event brought together people from different organizations who share the same values: caring for the climate and improving urban spaces. From the very beginning, the atmosphere was filled with motivation, teamwork, and a genuine willingness to make a positive impact.

Why is tree planting so important today?

In cities, every square meter of greenery matters. Trees improve air quality, enhance biodiversity, regulate temperature, retain rainwater, and create a friendlier environment for residents. In the face of climate change, their role is becoming increasingly significant.

Planting trees is also an investment in the future – the results of the volunteers’ work will grow and develop for years to come. Each sapling is a step toward a healthier, more resilient, and sustainable city.

The power of employee volunteering (CSR)

The initiative demonstrated how impactful CSR rooted in employee volunteering can be. Corporate engagement in environmental projects creates real change while fostering a sense of purpose and strengthening team bonds. Employees from three different companies worked side by side, shared tasks, and supported one another – all to achieve something greater together than they could accomplish individually.

Such initiatives build a culture of responsibility and show that caring for the environment starts with concrete actions. That’s why ecological volunteering is becoming an increasingly important part of CSR strategies.

Thank you!

Thanks to the volunteers’ dedication, 400 new trees will soon contribute to Warsaw’s ecosystem – cleaning the air, providing shade, and shaping a friendly urban landscape. It’s a long-lasting result that will benefit the city for many years.

We extend our warmest thanks to all volunteers from ING, Manpower, and Urban Partners for their time, energy, and impressive commitment. This initiative proved that collective action truly matters – and that every tree brings us closer to a greener, healthier future.
