Planting 1,000 trees with Ten Square Games in Wrocław on 16 October 2025
On October 16th, the Osobowicki Forest in Wrocław became the site of an unforgettable event. 154 employees from Ten Square Games took part in a tree-planting initiative, setting a new record for employee volunteering participation.
From the very beginning, the area was filled with positive energy and enthusiasm. The collective effort quickly turned into an impressive result – 1,000 newly planted trees, each of which will soon begin playing its role in the local ecosystem.
Trees as natural infrastructure: benefits that grow over time
Today, trees are increasingly recognized not just as elements of the landscape but as a core component of healthy urban infrastructure. They act as natural air filters, absorbing pollutants and producing oxygen. During hot days, they can reduce temperatures by several degrees, providing shade and mitigating the heat-island effect.
Trees also help retain water, stabilize soil, and create habitats for birds, insects, and other species – supporting local biodiversity. Their presence improves residents’ well-being, enhances the aesthetics of public spaces, and encourages outdoor activity.
Each of the 1,000 trees planted during the event is an investment in long-term environmental resilience – a natural asset that will continue to grow and strengthen the area for decades to come.
CSR in action: ecological initiatives that shape organizational culture
The Ten Square Games event demonstrates how effective CSR activities can be when they combine purpose with employee engagement. More and more companies are integrating environmental responsibility into their everyday operations – not only through formal commitments but through tangible actions that bring people together.
Such initiatives give employees the chance to collaborate outside the office, build a sense of shared impact, and contribute to meaningful environmental change. For participants, the day isn’t just about physical work – it’s an opportunity to connect, talk, and be part of something lasting.
At Ten Square Games, environmental awareness is clearly embedded in the company’s culture. The participation of more than 150 employees shows that ecological activities are becoming a natural and authentic part of the organization’s identity. With every such initiative, team relations grow stronger, and the company builds a deeper, values-driven foundation.
Thank you!
Together, the volunteers planted 1,000 trees, giving new life and future strength to the Osobowicki Forest. It’s an achievement that will grow year by year, just like the trees themselves.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all Ten Square Games employees for their time, enthusiasm, and remarkable turnout. Your involvement shows how much can be achieved in a single day of collaborative action. Thanks to you, future generations will enjoy the greenery that begins to grow here today.
