Insect House Workshops with Esmetric in Warsaw on October 29, 2025

esmetricmain

On October 29, we had the pleasure of organizing unique ecological workshops for the Esmetric team in Warsaw, where hands-on work met shared values and care for the environment.

The result? Several beautiful and carefully crafted insect houses were created! These small structures carry great importance for local biodiversity, and we felt truly proud seeing the commitment and engagement of every participant.

Employee Volunteering and CSR as a Sign of Mature Organizations

More and more companies are recognizing that social responsibility is not an addition to business activities, but an essential part of them. CSR and employee volunteering allow organizations to make a real impact on the environment and local communities, while at the same time strengthening company culture, building employee engagement, and giving people a sense of purposeful action.

Workshops organized by One More Tree Foundation combine team integration with actions that leave a lasting, positive impact. Participants not only complete a tangible task, but also become part of a project that truly supports nature. The Esmetric team demonstrated this perfectly, bringing energy, curiosity, and readiness for collaboration to the event.

Insect Houses – Small Structures with Great Impact

During the workshops, participants built insect houses using natural, carefully selected materials. They filled them with bamboo tubes, pine cones, and other elements that imitate the natural habitats of solitary bees, bumblebees, and other beneficial species. Each structure was secured with a light, specialized mesh, protecting the interior while not disturbing insects’ natural behavior.

In times of habitat loss and climate change, such constructions gain special importance. Every insect house becomes much more than a creative result – it is real support for local pollinators and an important step toward restoring ecosystem balance.

During the meeting, Esmetric employees also had the opportunity to learn interesting facts about pollinating insects: their role in maintaining biodiversity, how they function in nature, and the threats they face today.

Thank You!

We would like to thank the Esmetric team for their presence, care, and wholehearted commitment. The energy you brought to the workshops gave this event a truly special character and showed how much can be achieved when knowledge meets sensitivity toward nature.
