A Garden for the Residents of Forum RAZEM in Zabrze | August 28, 2026 | Green Pulse of Silesia
On August 28, at Forum RAZEM in Zabrze – a support center for people with disabilities, seniors, and their families, running, among others, a branch of the Community Self-Help Home and a Day Support Center – the final event of our Green Pulse of Silesia project took place. Together with volunteers from Stellantis and the Volunteer Center in Zabrze, we created a refreshed garden space.
A garden created with residents in mind
Our goal was to create a beautiful, green space for the residents of Forum RAZEM – a place that will please the eye and invite people to rest for seasons to come. We prepared the ground with a tiller, giving the plants a solid start, and magnolias, heathers, hydrangeas, and mountain pines now call the soil home, ready to reveal the full richness of their colors in autumn. Two herb boxes were also placed next to the flower bed, ready for further planting. An aesthetic garden border and a layer of bark mulch completed the whole, so the garden will look beautiful for a long time to come.
More than a garden
The real value of that day, however, wasn’t the plants themselves but the shared work – volunteers from Stellantis and the Volunteer Center in Zabrze came together for one purpose and built something that will remain here for a long time. Throughout it all, they were accompanied by the residents of Forum RAZEM, who watched the work with curiosity, asked questions, and saw firsthand how a place they knew so well was transformed beyond recognition – for the better! What emerged wasn’t just a flower bed, but also a space for rest, meetings, and integration for the people who use Forum RAZEM every day.
The end of a chapter
This event closes our Green Pulse of Silesia project – and we won’t hide that it stirs quite a lot of emotion in us. Throughout the project, we had the chance to meet many wonderful people and see how much grassroots, collective action can change. We’ll be preparing a summary of all our project activities soon – and for now, we want to sincerely thank everyone who was part of this journey.
We carried out the Green Pulse of Silesia project thanks to the support of Stellantis Philanthropy w Polsce, part of the global automotive group Stellantis.
